TDM5 - How to Install the TDM5 LG webOS Player

Introduction

TDM5 supports a wide range of devices, including Sony Bravia, Philips D-Line, Samsung displays, LG Signage displays, and Android/PC players.

This article explains how to configure and install TDM5 on an LG webOS display.

Requirements

To install TDM5 on your LG webOS display, you need the following:

• An LG display running webOS

• An active player license in your TDM5 account

• A network connection

  * A cable connection is recommended for displaying Full HD or higher resolution content

How to install the TDM5 LG webOS player

1. Using the gear button on the remote, go to Ez Setting > SI Server Setting.

2. Select SI Server Setting.

3. Enable Fully Qualified Domain Name and set the download URL to:
   https://tdm5.tdmsignage.com/download/webos
   

4. Set Application Launch Mode to Local.

5. Set Application Type to IPK.

6. Set Local Application Upgrade to Remote, then select Confirm.

7. Reboot the device using the stand-by button on the remote. The application will update and start automatically.
