Introduction

TDM Digital Signage supports the use of Windows based devices, these devices can be used to display Signage content created within the designer. Once a new version of TDM will be released it usually comes with a new version of the (PC) player as well. This manual will explain how the PC player software can be updated from the designer.

Requirements

If you want to update the PC player software you need to meet the following requirements:

• Have administrator access to the TDM designer

How To update the PC player from the designer

The PC player software can be updated for separate devices; this means you have the option to choose for which device you want to update the software.                                                      

1. Please login to the designer with an administrator account: https://designer.tdmsignage.com  
   
   
2. To update the PC player software, we need to go to the “Player overview”. This button is available from the dashboard.  
   
   
   
3. Select the player where you want to update the PC player software by left clicking on the name.
   
   
   
4. In the pop-up which appears please open the tab called “Updates” and push the latest version to your device, in case you want to update the PC player automatically tick the box for automatic updates.
   
   
   Repeat these steps in case you want to update multiple players.
