TDM4 - How to add custom resolutions

With TDM Digital Signage you have the ability to create custom resolutions, custom resolutions can be used for your template/masterpage designs. This way it is possible to create content for unusual resolutions, for example when you have a video wall.

This guide will explain how a custom resolution can be added and how this can be used.

Requirements:

If you want to add custom resolutions you need to meet the following requirements:

• Have administrator access to the TDM designer

How To add custom resolutions
1. Login to the Designer: https://designer.tdmsignage.com

2. Select “Config Panel”.

3. Select the tab called “Resolutions”.

4. Select ‘Add Resolution’ to create a new resolution.

5. Enter the following information in the pop-up which will be opened:
Name: Name of your resolution
Width: The width of your resolution in pixels, for example: 1920
Height: The height of your resolution in pixels, for example 1080

Once all the information is entered select ‘Save’.

6. Your custom resolution has been created and you can move it up/down with the three stripes in front of the name. The order of the resolutions in this overview will be used in the drop-down when you create new content.
