Introduction
TDM5 supports different rights on players. This enables you to assign players to certain users or groups or even exclude them entirely.
Requirements
If you want to set rights to players you need to meet the following requirements:
- Have access to: Devices > Players
How to set rights for players
- Login to your TDM5 environment.
- Select “Devices”.
- Select the menu option called “Players”.
- Select ‘Rights” to the right of the player name you wish to set rights for.
- The owner of the account will always have access to all players. Click on ‘Add user’ to add extra users to the player.
- In the next window you can search for a specific user or group or select them from a list. After you selected a user or group you can set the level of access.
View: Users can only see the player
Edit: Users can see the player and make modification to it (i.e. renaming the player)
Manage: User can see, edit and manage the player. Managing a players gives you the ability to set other content of change the license
Denied: Users can no longer see the player
Select ‘Add user’ to finish the process.
Now you have successfully set rights to the players for a specific user or group.
