Introduction

With TDM Digital Signage you have the ability to shuffle pages, there are two methods of shuffle functions available. One can be found in the playlist configuration and the other can be found in the presentation configuration.

This guide will explain how the presentation shuffle can be enabled.

Requirements

If you want to configure presentation shuffle you need to meet the following requirements:

• Have access to Content Creation > Presentations within the designer
  
  

How To configure presentation shuffle

1. Login to the designer: https://designer.tdmsignage.com  
   
   
2. Select “Content Creation” and then select “Presentations”.
   
   
   
3. Select the presentation where you want to enable shuffle.
   
   
   
4. Once you opened the presentation there is an option called “Shuffle mode”. There are four different kind of shuffle options, you will find a short description for each option below:
   
   Default: Playlists which are added to this presentation and have the shuffle option enabled will be shuffled, playlists which are added to this presentation but do not have the shuffle option enabled will be shown in order as configured in the playlist
   
   Mixed Shuffle: Pages from multiple playlists will be shown randomly in case the shuffle option has been enabled for the playlists, in case shuffle is not enabled for one of the playlist it will not be shuffled.
   
   Distributed Shuffle: With this option three random pages will be shown from playlist 1, afterwards three random pages will be shown from playlist 2 and so on. Once a page has been displayed it will not be shown again until all the pages in that playlist have been displayed.
   
   Distributed Linear: With this option one page will be shown from playlist 1, afterwards one pages will be shown from playlist 2 and so on.
   
   
   Now you have successfully enabled the presentation shuffle.
