Introduction

With TDM Digital Signage you have the option to add tags to your pages. The tags can be used to filter on pages when adding them to your playlist.

This guide will explain how a tag can be added to a page and how you can filter on them when adding pages to a playlist. An example of this would be to fill a new playlist with advertisements.

You can add a tag called ‘advertisement’ to all you advertorial pages and automatically fill your playlist with all the pages containing this tag. Note that you can have multiple tags on one single page.

Requirements

If you want to add tags to your pages and filter on the tags you need to meet the following requirements:

• Have access to Content Creation > Pages
• Have access to Content Creation > Playlists
• Designer is updated to 4.1 or above

How To use tags for pages

1. Login to the designer: https://designer.tdmsignage.com  
   
   
2. Select “Content Creation” and then select “Pages”.
   
   
   
3. Open the page where you want to add a tag.
   
   
   
4. Select the “Tags” button located on the right side of the page name.
   
   
   
5. A new field will appear right beneath the name of your page, this is where you can enter the tags.
   
   
   
6. Once the tags have been entered save the page.
   
   
7. Select “Content Creation” and then select “Playlists”.
   
   
   
8. Select the playlist where you want to add a page.
   
   
   
9. Once you have opened the playlist please enter the tag which you want to use to filter the pages. 
   
   
   Now you can add the page/pages to your playlist, in case you want to filter on different tags please repeat the steps described above.
